The Bohol Detention Pond project is a flood mitigation and water storage facility designed to temporarily store excess water during the wet season and release the stored water during the dry season. The project scope includes earthworks for pond formation, sheet piling and cofferdam structures for temporary water control and ground support, as well as reinforced concrete (RC) structures and associated civil works required for the safe and efficient operation of the detention pond.s required to form the detention and control facilities, ensuring the pond is structurally sound, hydraulically functional and capable of operating safely throughout seasonal variations in water levels.
