We were the first in Malaysia to install a Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) plant with further purification via Reverse Osmosis (RO), delivered for Veolia.

Malaysia's first MBBR + RO wastewater plant
Delivered for Veolia Water Technologies Sdn Bhd, this project paired Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor treatment with Reverse Osmosis polishing — a combination Cekap Air was the first to install in the country.
High-strength industrial effluent required both reliable contaminant removal and effluent quality suitable for reuse, within a compact plant footprint.
MBBR biological treatment handled organic load, with RO polishing added downstream to lift effluent quality to reuse-grade standard.
A first-of-its-kind installation in Malaysia, demonstrating the effectiveness of combining biofilm treatment with membrane polishing at scale.
